Reservation And Payment Terms

BOOKING PROCESS
REQUEST

To begin your booking, please fill out and submit the Request Form with your preferred dates and itinerary. Our team will review your request and confirm availability. Alternatively, you can send your request via email at info@blackswan.com.gr, or via Whatsapp and Viber. We will get back to you promptly with further details, including pricing and available options.

 

BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Once your request is reviewed and availability is confirmed, we will promptly provide you with the above-mentioned further details, and after receiving this information, a deposit is required to officially secure your reservation. The deposit amount will be outlined in the following sections. Please note that reservations without a deposit will not be confirmed, as the booking is officially confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit payment.
After the deposit payment is received, you will be asked to complete the Reservation Form on our website to finalize the booking details.
Once confirmed, a reservation confirmation email will be sent to you with trip details.
72 hours prior to the scheduled departure date, you will receive a payment link for the remaining balance, that you have to pay 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure date.

 

PAYMENT TERMS
DEPOSIT

To secure your booking, a deposit is required as follows:
50% deposit of the total fare for bookings made between May 1st and November 30th.
30% deposit of the total fare for bookings made between December 1st and April 30th.
Please note that reservations without the required deposit will not be confirmed.

 

REMAINING BALANCE

The remaining balance must be paid at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure date. A payment link for the remaining balance will be sent 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure date.
Failure to Pay: If the remaining balance is not received within the specified timeframe, your booking may be canceled without a refund of the deposit.
Fuel and Taxes Inclusions: The rental fee includes all fuel costs and taxes for the agreed-upon itinerary.

 

REFUNDS

Refunds will be issued within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

Payment Security and Data Encryption
We accept payments for bookings through a variety of secure methods listed below. When you make a reservation, we will direct you to a secure payment environment, where a unique payment code is generated to authorize the transaction from your account. Our payment processing system is built with robust encryption protocols to ensure the highest security standards for safeguarding your personal and financial data.
Important Notice
To protect your security, we will never request your credit card information, e-banking credentials, or any other payment details via phone, SMS, Viber, WhatsApp, or any similar communication platform. Always be cautious and avoid sharing your sensitive information unless you’re in a secure, trusted environment.

All payments are made in EURO (€).

The following payment options are available for securing a reservation:
Bank Transfer: Clients may complete their payment via bank transfer, ensuring the reference text includes their full name and the date of the cruise. They must also send proof of transaction at info@blackswan.com.gr to confirm the booking. Any transfer fees or bank charges incurred are the responsibility of the client.

Payment Link: A secure payment link will be sent to you via email.
PayPal: Payments can be made via PayPal. Any additional fees charged by PayPal are the responsibility of the client.
POS on Board: Payments can be processed via POS terminals available on the yacht. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club International.
Cash on Board: Cash payments are accepted on board, subject to prior arrangement.

 

CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING

Changes to your booking may be allowed, subject to availability and approval, and must be requested in writing at info@blackswan.com.gr at least 72 hours in advance.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any cancellation made within 7 days before the cruise results in a charge of the deposit of the total fare. Cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled departure time results in a charge of 100% of the total fare.
Clients who fail to arrive at the designated departure location on time will forfeit their reservation and payments without a refund.
Cancellation requests must be sent in writing at info@blackswan.com.gr.
Blackswan Exclusive Yachting reserves the right to cancel or modify the scheduled cruise in case of bad weather conditions, mechanical issues or any other reason deemed necessary for the safety of all passengers. In such case, an alternative route or date will be offered, providing this is possible and there is availability. In the event that neither an alternative route nor an alternative date is feasible, either from the company, or from the client, a full refund of the deposit/total fare will be issued within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
In any case, it must be noted that the Company cannot take responsibility for cancellations or interruptions beyond our control, such as extreme weather conditions, mechanical issues etc and that weather cancellations are determined at our sole discretion for the safety of all passengers and crew.
In the event of cancellation, Blackswan Exclusive Yachting is exempt from bank charges.

 

INSURANCE AND LIABILITIES

The boat is insured against third-party liability for bodily injuries, fatalities and material damage caused by collisions at sea. The insurance also covers bodily injuries, fatalities and and material damage of the client or passengers caused by collisions at sea. Personal travel insurance is strongly recommended, as the company shall not be liable for any claims beyond its standard coverage.

 

OBLIGATIONS AND PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

User Eligibility: To use our services, you must be at least 18 years old and possess the legal authority to enter into binding agreements.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations: The client and all passengers must comply with all applicable maritime laws, regulations, and the instructions of the captain and crew at all times. Any violation of such regulations may result in the termination of the charter without a refund.
Conduct Onboard: All passengers are expected to behave in a responsible and respectful manner. Any conduct that endangers the yacht, crew, other passengers, or third parties, including but not limited to excessive intoxication, illegal activities, or disruptive behavior, will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of services without a refund.
Prohibited Items: The following items are strictly prohibited on board: illegal substances, alcohol (except what is offered on board), weapons, explosives, hazardous materials, and any other items deemed dangerous by the crew. Any violation of this provision will result in immediate termination of the charter, with notification to the relevant authorities where necessary.
Damage, Liability and Indemnification: The client shall be liable for any damage caused to the yacht, its equipment, furnishings, or any third-party property due to negligence, misconduct, or failure to comply with the crew’s instructions. Any damage must be reported immediately, and the client will be responsible for covering all repair or replacement costs. The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the company, its owner, crew, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from any breach of these terms, misconduct, or negligent actions of the client or passengers.
Health and Safety: The client is responsible for ensuring that all passengers are medically fit to participate in the cruise. The company bears no responsibility for any medical emergencies or conditions arising during the trip. Passengers with pre-existing medical conditions should inform the crew in advance and take necessary precautions.
By proceeding with the charter, the client acknowledges and agrees to the above obligations and liabilities.

 

COMPLAINTS and JURISDICTION

Complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days after the cruise at info@blackswan.com.gr
It is hereby expressly agreed that any arising disputes, if not resolved amicably, shall be governed by Greek law and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens.
